In 2018, the National Science Foundation selected the research of PARADIM user, Josh Goldberger (The Ohio State) for video in their Science Nation series.  Goldberger is working with a material that he describes as goniopolar and having the property of negative charges moving in one direction and positive charges moving in another direction simultaneously.  The PARADIM bulk crystal growth facility at Johns Hopkins has been an important tool in the success of this work - designing new quantum materials with unique properties that will pave the way for the development of new electronic materials.
