We are pleased to announce the third annual JHU summer school on the synthesis and discovery of materials. The focus of this years school is on quantum materials, specifically those with collective magnetic states of matter, and will feature talks from experts across the materials design triad: synthesis, characterization, and theory/modeling in addition to hands on experience. Targeted at graduate students, postdocs, and young faculty, there is no registration fee and all meals will be provided. Attendees are expected to cover travel and lodging (in affordable on-campus housing), although limited travel grants may be available.
